PICK-YOUR-OWN GUIDELINES:

*Please be kind to our fields. The plants can be damaged or killed by traipsing on them, so be careful not to step on either the plants or strawberries. A lot of time and energy goes into making a berry.

* Once you begin picking in a row, we ask that you remain in that row. • Spread the leaves (carefully) and LIFT THE CLUSTERS of fruit. You will find lots of beautiful fruit hiding in “plain sight”. Pinch the stems so that you don’t crush the berries. They keep longer with their caps intact.

* Please try your best to pick all the ripe berries in your section, this allows us to keep our fields clean, prevent pest issue and maintains plentiful berries for the next customer.

* Picking and then discarding partially ripe strawberries means that the farmer takes the loss. Making a mistake comes with the territory, but excessive carelessness can cost the farmer a lot of revenue.

* If you have picked all the ripe fruit in your spot, please ask the staff to assign you a new spot. Please walk only on the straw between the rows and in cross aisles. No Row Hopping!

* Strawberries aren’t snowballs. Refrain from picking a produce fight with your friends or family. If we see you throwing berries, we will ask you to leave immediately and pay for any berries or damage that you may have caused.

* It is difficult to abstain from sampling a few especially tempting strawberries but be courteous and keep the freebies to a minimum. It isn’t an all-you-can-eat buffet. If your child/children are eating berries while picking, that is okay, don’t sweat the small stuff and don't make it a stressful time for you or your family. We want everyone's time on the farm to be a positive one. Plus, we do enjoy seeing a child's berry face!

* Need a new spot? Please Ask! Need more packaging or help getting fruit back to the stand? Please Ask!

* We have staff throughout the farm, if you have any questions, please just give a shout!

PICK-YOUR-OWN TIPS:

Pick Your Own hours are the same as the farm stand hours. We ask that you finish picking in the evening 20-30 minutes before the stand closes, so our staff can do their work and go home on time. We value our staff and want them to be able to go home on time.

• Please follow signs and park in designated areas and pay attention to farm signage/staff instructions.

• Dress comfortably and seasonally appropriate. Sneakers are recommended.

• Be sure to pack a hat and wear sunscreen if you're picking on a hot summer day.

• Stay hydrated!! (We sell water at the stand in case you forget yours).

• Dispose of trash in proper receptacles (at the farmstand). Please respect our farm and help us keep the farm beautiful.

• Be considerate of other customers.

• We LOVE our fur babies, however, No dogs are allowed in the berry fields or in the farmstands. Please do not plan on leaving your dog in your vehicle for any extended time, as there is no shade in the parking lots.

• Supervise your children, keep them close, and teach them how to pick correctly.

MOST IMPORTANTLY -HAVE FUN!
