Cashier

Description
As a cashier on our farmstand you play an important role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the overall presentation of our farmstand. Your primary responsibilities include offering a warm and welcoming environment to customers, efficiently processing customer transactions and ensuring the stand is well stocked and presentable. When working in this role it is important to remember that you are an ambassador for the values we uphold. It is also a great opportunity to become more engaged with our wonderful community that supports us.

Job Responsibilities
* Greet and engage with customers through their shopping and checkout experience. 
* Assist customers in locating products and helping with questions. 
* Keep stand stocked and visually appearing. 
* Work with other staff members to prepare fruits and vegetables for sales.

 Qualifications
* Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail, especially in cash handling and transaction accuracy.
* A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
* Familiarity with farm products and a willingness to learn about our farming practices.

Working Conditions
This position involves standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying items, and working in various weather conditions. The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the farmstand. 

Benefits and Wages
* Wages start at $13.67+tips, previous experience will be considered. 
* Opportunities for wage increases throughout the summer dependent on performance. 
* Free produce from the Staff Picks section which includes produce that cannot be sold due to bruising, splits, shape or size. 

Lead Staff 

Description
As a lead staff member you will play a vital role in ensuring day to day operations run smoothly, fostering customer satisfaction, and assisting in management tasks. Your responsibilities include, assisting cashiers, managing customer inquiries/requests, addressing customer concerns, assisting with management tasks as needed (including but not limited to, sales calls, invoicing, product ordering, record keeping, etc.) and leading opening and closing procedures. 

Job Responsibilities 
* Assists customers with wholesale/bulk orders and pick ups. 
* Assists customers with more in depth/specific product inquiries and concerns. Ensures prompt and effective resolutions.
* Leads opening/closing of farmstand and coordinates with other team members on shift to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
* Oversees the set up of displays ensuring a visually appearing, well stocked farmstand.  
* Oversees the breakdown of displays and ensures that all products are appropriately stored.
* Offers guidance and support to all team members and helps foster an overall positive and cohesive work environment.
* Provides assistance to management as needed. 
       - Creates and organizes invoices and payments                      - Assists with product ordering
        - Assists with sales calls, effectively                         
           communicating with wholesale customers and
           ensures their satisfaction.
         - Assists with farm record     
            keeping/charting/tracking.
         - Handles product receiving and deliveries             
             ensuring invoices are passed on to
             management and product is properly stored.

Qualifications
* Previous experience in a service leadership or supervisory role is preferred, however we would train the right individuals. 
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail. * Ability to handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
* Proficient in office tasks, including basic computer skills.
* Familiarity with farm products and farming practices is a plus.
* Ability to work into the fall (even 1-2 shifts) is prefferred but not necessary.

Pick Your Own Attendant

Description
As a pick your own attendant on the farm you will play an important role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will be to guide customers to specific parts of the berry patch, chart picking patterns and communicate with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their picking experience.

Job Responsibilities
* Greets customers as they enter the field and engages with them in a friendly conversion.
* Walks with customers to the berry patch and effectively communicates rules and guidelines to customers.
* Frequently check in with pick your own customers to ensure they are satisfied with picking.
* Addresses customers' concerns with picking conditions and promptly finds an effective solution.
* Tracks berry picking progress in the field and communicates this to the next shift.
